Beginning in 2005, Esosa was actively involved in the yearly VDAY campaign and has performed in " A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer," as well as "The Vagina Monologues." In 2011, she produced "A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant and A Prayer" in  Washington DC, which  was directed by Adriene Jordan, former Television Broadcaster, and  featured notable Washingtonians such as Michael Eric Dyson, Reverend Marcia Dyson,  Chase Rynd, The Director of the National Building Museum, Terry O'Neil, President of N.O.W.,  Deborah Sines, Assistant U.S. Attorney, and Mitch Credle, Detective.

In 2016, Esosa debuted her one woman show The Woman Who Would Be King in Cape Town, South Africa about the first female Pharaoh. In 2017 the show was performed at the Smithson Museum of African Art, and the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington DC. In tandem with each public performance Esosa launched an Educational Initiative and included a free community performance or talk at local middle schools. When the show was invited to the Kampala International Theater Festival, the team was able to support a local orphanage with supplies for their classroom. The goal is to perform the show for at-risk women all over the continent of Africa.
